We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary Provides materials management support for substation and transmission line projects and operations.
Evaluates and processes bills of materials, material requisitions, reservations, purchase orders, and pick requests for material deliveries.
Ensures required documentation is available for material receipts.
Analyzes material requirement dates against project schedules to identify impacts to project teams.
Investigates material statuses and expedites suppliers to support project execution.
Analyzes material usage patterns for planned and stocked items to ensure cost effective and adequate materials are available in a timely manner.
Assists in planning and implementation of sourcing initiatives, developing supplier networks, and resolving supply chain issues.
Identifies replacement materials to support expedited projects.
Assists with collecting goods receipts for materials delivered to construction and storage sites.
Provides support to material management contractors operating project and regional storage yards.
Visits construction sites to provide material guidance and support.
Collaborates with internal and external groups including, but not limited to:
engineering standards, engineering design, supply chain, sourcing, construction, project management, schedulers, finance associates, warehouse associates, material management contractors, and suppliers on projects and daily activities as required.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
Job Qualifications Understanding of the subject matter or diversified knowledge of principles and practice in broad areas of assignments and related fields:
Materials management Inventory management Identifying materials and providing material specifications Processing engineering bills of materials, analyzing and creating reservation, requisitions, and purchase orders Processing material issuance and delivery requests for construction projects Analyzing project materials for availability Coordinating material deliveries to project sites and storage locations Providing project material statuses and order cost reporting to project customers Maintaining reservation, requisition, and purchase order data in SAP Resolving supply chain, logistical, and supplier issues.
Maintaining constructive relationships with suppliers and customers Assisting with return material dispositions Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
Basic knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
Basic knowledge of client groups, commodities, and specialties.
Basic knowledge of environmental, government, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Basic knowledge of inventory analysis techniques.
Working knowledge of supplier relations, priority management, and tactical planning.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Basic forecasting and trend analysis skills.
Computer skills including:
Microsoft Suite, Excel, Access; SAP Value and cost analysis skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines.
Ability to process information quickly and accurately.
Ability to walk, stoop, and bend, to perform walkdowns and to search for materials.
