Summary:
Cashiers complete the monetary transaction with customers by scanning and weighing products and accepting money, checks, credit/debit cards, or other form of payment for purchases.
Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service and always going above and beyond to wow every customer.
Job
Responsibilities:
Operate cash register.
Receive and verify all forms of payment.
Maintain a clean and organized front end, adhering to all health and sanitization standards.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure transactions are accurate.
Ensure that every item is paid for Assisting other departments with stocking, signage, pricing, etc during downtime.
Other duties as they are assigned by store management.
Job Requirements:
Flexible schedule is a must.
weekends, holidays are required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
Frequent walking and standing with some lifting.
Accurate and responsible cash handling.
Basic knowledge of produce for identification purposes.
