Accounts Receivable Manager
Glen Allen, VA Glen Allen, VA Full-time Full-time $80,000 - $95,000 a year $80,000 - $95,000 a year Patient First is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead multiple high volume teams to meet accounts receivable and exceptional patient satisfaction goals.
The Accounts Receivable Manager provides day-to-day and strategic leadership to a large accounts receivable team consisting of multiple specialty areas.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading the team responsible for ensuring that all monies received are applied to the correct account and refunds are issued in a timely manner.
Balancing accounts receivables (AR) cash to actual cash; ensure all monies, including cash, checks, and credit cards, are applied to the proper account in a timely and accurate manner and the funds are balanced daily.
Managing the operations of the team; create, implement and maintain policies, procedures and controls.
Establishing department key performance indicators and ensuring consistent feedback is provided to allow the team to meet all goals.
Submitting monthly reports to Manager of Patient Accounts with summaries and statistics of previous month's activities; Analyzing large data sets to draw conclusions and set policy and procedure guidelines based on results.
Leading process-reengineering efforts to assist with efficiency and growth targets.
Developing methods to constantly train and enhance the knowledge of the team; Interviewing and hiring to fill open positions; Evaluating staff at three and 12 months during the first year of employment and annually thereafter while completing additional evaluations as needed; Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or higher (preferred) Experience leading a high volume accounts receivable department, or comparable accounting experience.
Experience with data analysis and reporting is preferred.
