Electrical Project Engineer

Fully competent engineer.
Gaining mastery over the entire project, able to function as the lead engineer (Discipline Lead) on small to medium scale projects and/or completely engineer complex systems on large/campus scale projects.
Will regularly function as the Responsible Engineer Of Record accountable for the technical sufficiency of some or all electrical department project deliverables - limits of responsibility to be determined in concert with more senior department leadership.
Principle Accountabilities:
1( 30 %)Create and/or direct others to create edit and check project documents to include plans and BIM models, specifications, and support documents (basis of design)2( 15 %)Checks work delegated to other engineers and designers on project to ensure scope is documented successfully; serves as Discipline Lead3( 15 %)Performing complex engineering calculations; designs systems and completes equipment selection4( 15 %)Manage electrical department scope for project5( 15 %)Main point of contact to clients for electrical department project responsibilities (meetings, conference calls, comment review/responses, etc.
)6( 10 %)Perform ITRs, travel for meetings and site investigations, cost estimates, and other tasks as required Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information.

Data Handlers should be trained to follow documented policies, standard operating procedures and secure practices associated with protecting trusted employee and customer data.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1Skilled and able to direct others in all aspects electrical design and the preparation of all types of engineering and construction documents including lighting, power, and telecommunications; thorough knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), ASHRAE 90.
1 and other energy codes, and client design criteria (UFCs, OBO Design Standards, GSA), and familiar with the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM); skilled and able to direct others to use engineering calculations spreadsheets and SKM Power Tools to model and perform fault calculations; Knowledge of other building systems and how they coordinate with electrical systems2Gaining command of the overall department project scope in pursuit of becoming an independent front line project leader (Sr.
Engineer); has mastered the primary design methods and calculations; understands the diverse design process and has strong project experience from inception to substantial completion; has basic understanding of both disciplines within department (electrical and telecommunications); developing command of department policies and administration including proposal preparation.
3Works with other engineers, disciplines and project managers to ensure quality, and to verify successful execution of the project; responsible as client facing representative of electrical department and begins to participate in business development activities; actively supports project manager and department leadership with design scope modifications for assigned projects.
Actively manages project cost throughout the design.
Ensures design constructability and coordination with other disciplines necessary for a successful construction project.
Ensures all electrical CA responsibilities for project are handled successfully.
4Interpersonal savvy and willingness/ability to communicate effectively (oral and writing) with M&H team members as well as clients; able to take direction and guidance from more senior staff within company, and able to provide direction and guidance to less senior staff within department5Must build trusted relationships with department through maintaining ownership for assigned work and delivering efficient and high quality results.
Expected to be a proactive learner, responsible to seek out support when needed, identify expectations, check own work output against quality expectations, and pursue opportunities to grow technical capabilities.
Maintains professional humility and respect in partnership with all team members in pursuit of overall project success.
Is expected to know their own technical limitations and proactively seek out support where needed while maintaining their lead role for the project.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
