Counselor - School Age Child Care (Glen Allen Area)

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs within the Glen Allen area.
Locations include Shady Grove YMCA, Springfield Park Elementary, and Echo Lake Elementary.
The pay for this position starts at $13 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
$250 hiring incentive available!Duties:
Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs.
Program hours are weekdays from 2-6pm.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility High school diploma or GED required Minimum age is 18 The following certifications are highly desirable:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
