Job Summary This position will support the system protection engineering groups under electric transmission with scheduling and procedural enhancements.
Responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient and economical operations for Dominion Energy and Dominion Delivery business areas.
Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major milestones on projects and their delivery dates by communicating with field resources and project managers.
Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.
Under general supervisor, responsible for managing System Protection Engineering work product delivery dates and reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
2-3
years of relevant exempt experience in a directly related field.
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved.
Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft office products and SAP is preferred.
Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Associates or Bachelor Preferred Discipline(s):
Business Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
