Provides IT network routing and switching engineering for new innovations, project designs, and standards development. Ensures adherence to defined Network Engineering Processes and identifies and helps influence platform strategic direction in coordination with business users'' needs and direction.
- Provide Proof of Concept testing and business case inputs
- Enterprise network routing/switching strategy, solutions, and ongoing technology refresh and enhancements
- Enterprise network routing / switching design standards
- Design reviews and project engineering.
- Acquisition integration for network routing / switching services.
- Technology integration point with other Capital One Engineering towers to provide strategic solutions.
- Feasibility engagements with business groups to ensure integrated network strategies are incorporated early in the process.
- Provide Technical leadership and guidance to junior personnel
- Implement engineering designs
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification, or military experience
- At least 2 years experience in Technical Leadership of medium to large IT projects
- At least 3 years experience in all technical aspects of Routing / Switching Engineering
- At least 3 Years experience with Cisco technologies
- At least 1 Year experience with Cisco ASR technologies
- At least 1 year experience with GET VPN design and configuration
- At least 1 year experience with MPLS design and configuration
- At least 1 year experience with BGP send-community implementation
- At least 1 year experience with QOS technologies and VoIP implementations
- At least 1 year experience with multi-VRF terminations
- At least 1 year experience with Campus network designs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or Computers
- 4 Years experience in Technical Leadership of medium to large IT projects
- 6 Years experience in all technical aspects of Routing / Switching Engineering
- 6 Years experience with Cisco technologies
- 2 Years experience with Cisco Nexus, UCS, and 1KV technologies

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
