The Internal Operations team partners with the SVP of Operations and the Snagajob Executive Leadership Team to align Snagajob's technology, process and people. This is accomplished through analyzing and prioritizing organizational needs, developing strategic solutions and executing cross-functional projects to reduce costs, maximize efficiency and improve profitability.
The Business Systems Analyst position serves as the lead functional analyst in support of corporate financial systems, primarily NetSuite and Zuora. It will provide functional support to the Accounting/Finance team, lead the analysis and business case development for interfaces, enhancements and process changes, and drive the testing and acceptance of changes. The Business Systems Analyst will provide functional expertise and will partner with project leaders in the design, testing and debugging of significant enhancements to existing software applications.
Evaluates business needs, analyzes processes and creates business cases for changes and process improvements
Understands business needs and translates into functional requirements and specifications
Works with finance team to ensure best practices in system utilization
Provides functional support and administration of NetSuite and Zuora
Identifies problems and proposes innovative solutions
Develops reporting and defines system requirements
Provides system expertise and functional support throughout the application development and application change processes, including functional configuration set-ups and prototyping in a sandbox environment
Participates in analysis sessions, providing advice on specific issues while verifying quality of deliverables for future-state process designs
Under general supervision, develops revisions to existing system logic as necessary to meet business requirements
Communicates complex concepts clearly, accurately, and effectively both verbally and in writing
Works with Director of Internal Operations, external partners (NetSuite), 3rd Party Technical Resources and cross functional resources effectively
Participates in project coordination, planning, and scheduling; performs strategic analysis and planning; prepares charts, diagrams, and tables that depict the present and proposed systems in terms of costs, benefits derived, and processes accomplished
Prepares and maintains project work plans, day-to-day activities and short-interval schedules
Provides internal and external training in areas of expertise
Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners
Interacts with analysts and end users to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems
Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar area of study
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Financial Systems Analyst
3-5 years of functional experience with Enterprise ERP e.g. NetSuite
3-5 years of functional experience with recurring billing software e.g. Zuora
Ability to manage and participate at different levels on multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and exceed goals in high-pressure situations
Analytical, organizational and time management skills
Strategic and tactical assessment skills
Professional, effective, and persuasive oral and written communications to all levels within the company

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
